Hair and Nails – Dr Emma Mack

Zoom

Join Dr. Emma Mack, consultant dermatologist, for an update on conditions of the hair & nails, relevant to general practice. Although hair has no vital function in humans and the nails are a largely unnoticed appendage, derangement in their function can cause significant psychological distress. Some changes are physiological but some reflect disease processes. The clinical challenge is to distinguish between these and to know when it is appropriate to intervene. Emma will aim to make us more confident in managing these common, yet tricky, complaints.
